KIRKWOOD, NY - Saturday Joe earned his first heat race win for the season in the No.22 Dons Automotive Mall 600 Modified. After being sent to the rear of the field halfway through the feature Joe was able to pick up a seventh-place feature finish. Sunday Joe and the 22 team headed up to Five Mile Point Speedway, after finishing a solid 4th place in the heat race. Joe would start 7th in the 20-lap feature event, at lap- 14 transmission issues would side-line the No.22 leading to a DNF.

Racing resumes for Joe Friday May 18th, at Penn Can Speedway and Sunday May 20th, at Grandview Speedway for the Small Car Series.
